My name is Roberto Pino, and it is my pleasure making your acquaintance.
I was born in Buenos Aires
in 1956. I moved to New York in 1971 where I attended High
School and College (Architecture) for 2 years until I definitively
moved to Italy in 1976. At the beginning in Rome, then in Ravenna, I worked in one
of the major italian banks (unicredit banca) starting as an employee and
afterwards becoming Manager in 1991 until 1999 when I left my banking career to undertake a
new adventure in Financial Advisorship in UnicreditSim.
Stock Exchange's 2000 Crack forced me
to explore other fields: from Insurance to sales & marketing Manager in the
wine high quality market; from Financial Manager in a Printing Co. , from Food
& beverage to Tourism and Hotel fields ...to finally land into "Financial Loans"
and "Real
Estate" business.
My latest qualification is
in the Real Estate and since july 2007
I’m dealing now a
few projects in Riviera Maya (Mexico) and have my own company in Real Estate and
Hospitality -buildings, land, hotels to sell-
Since 2007 I had my
own personal Firm “Borgo Antico” where I operated as a Loan Advisor
registered as "mortgage broker" until the Subprime crisis.
The consequent Credit
Crunch and recession in the Italian banking system due to the deep -and actually ongoing- lack of
liquidity, made the mortgage business in Italy very
critical, making me change my goal directions and program my future projects
abroad.
In such panorama I get my italian
qualification as a Real Estate Agent passing State examinations in Ravenna with
the best average out of 70 participants.
In Mèxico I operate since
2008.
My Real Estate Company alongwith my wife
Alejandrina: Selem & Co Riviera Maya S.A. de C.V. (www.selemandco.com) deals from Holbox at north through Xcalak up to the upmost southern border; with developers
and private owners' building projects in Riviera Maya (Mexico); deals in
Property Care; in national, ejidal and private land, apartments,villas either
for sale and for vacational rentals.
The Brand Picalu Villas
& Management is used by the Company to deal in Tourism startups and
management.
Between my achievements I
can name Hospitality startups as Posada Picalu, a small bed & breakfast in
Playa del Carmen, and Villas Picalu B&B Hotel Boutique (www.villaspicalubboutique.com) both traspassed recently as reached the breakeven point.

Breakfast) and later on I was engaged by a friend into the Property Management and Care for a Real Estate
Agency (InvestateOne- Grupo Diversa Corporativo) .
Since 2010 I work in México on my own as a real estate advisor.

(México) on April 24th , 1963.
Alejandrina Selem is expert in Agricultural
Law (Ley Agraria) of her Country, specially on the Ejidal property
diatribes, since the beginning, when not many where involved in the Ejido
land subdivision of the lots in this part of Riviera Maya. She has worked
for over 10 years in one local and well recognized construction company
(Provisa S.A. de C.V.) in comercializating Property and becoming a
valid work supervision assistant. She has had also a long term experience
in the hotel field in the Food & Beverage area, client care and
complaint management for about 10 years in hotels and restaurants as:
